To change Feeder's language, click Settings at the bottom of the left sidebar, open Appearance, and pick a language under Interface language. Feeder speaks 38 languages, including Chinese, Japanese, French, Hebrew, Italian and Turkish.
How do I change the language on the web?
- Click Settings at the bottom of the left sidebar, or open feeder.co/settings/general.
- Choose Appearance.
- Under Language, open the Interface language menu and pick your language.
Feeder switches right away. When you're signed in, your choice is saved to your Feeder account, so the browser extension and the mobile apps switch too.
How do I change it in the iPhone and Android apps?
- Tap Settings at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Language. If the app is in a language you can't read, look for the row that ends in (Language).
- Pick your language, or Device default to follow your phone.
Does Feeder follow my browser's language?
Yes, until you pick one yourself. The first choice in the menu, Default, uses your browser's language when Feeder has it, and English when it doesn't. In the apps, Device default uses your phone's language. If Feeder shows English even though your browser is set to another language, as can happen with Chinese, pick your language from the list.
Which languages can I choose?

What stays in its original language?
- Posts. Feeder shows posts in the language the site publishes them in. To read them in your language, use Auto-translate posts, right under Interface language. Translation is one of Feeder's AI features and isn't part of the Free plan.
- Help articles. The help center, including this article, is in English only.
- A few messages and e-mails from Feeder may still be in English.
Common questions
Is there a Chinese version of Feeder?
Yes. Pick Chinese (Simplified) or Chinese (Traditional) under Interface language. It's the same Feeder, with the same feeds and plans.
Can I use a different language on my phone and on the web?
Yes, if you choose Default on the web and Device default in the app. Then each browser and phone uses its own language. A language you pick yourself applies everywhere you're signed in.
