You change the e-mail address of your Feeder account in Account, Email and password. Your feeds, folders and plan stay with the account, so changing its address is also how you move a paid plan to the address you use now.
How do I change my e-mail address?
- Open Account and select Email and password.
- Under Change email, type the new address in New email and Repeat new email, then select Update email.
- Open the e-mail Feeder sends to the new address and select the link in it. The link works for 24 hours.
Until you select the link, you still log in with your old address, and Cancel change stops the change. When the change is done, Feeder tells your old address, with a link that undoes the change for 30 days.
How do I move my paid plan to another account?
A plan belongs to the account you paid with. To use it with another e-mail address, change the e-mail of the paid account to that address, as above. You keep the plan, and the feeds of the paid account.
If that address already has a Feeder account, Feeder says That email has an account already. Then:
- Log in to the account you don't need and export its feeds. See Import and export your feeds with OPML.
- Delete that account. See How to delete your Feeder account. Its e-mail address is free again right away.
- Log in to the paid account, change its e-mail to that address, and import the feeds you exported.
Rather not delete anything? E-mail support@feeder.co from the address you paid with, name the other account's address, and we'll help.
Common questions
I paid, but my account still says Free
You're most likely logged in to another account than the one you paid with, for example one made with Google or Apple. See Paid but not upgraded?
Can I merge two Feeder accounts?
Not in one step. Export the feeds of one account as OPML and import them into the other. Folders come along, but posts don't, so starred posts and collections stay in the old account.
