The limits people run into

200 feeds

You can follow up to 200 feeds. Account, Plan shows how many you use. Feeds you add past 200 are locked: they show This feed is locked and don't update until you remove other feeds or upgrade.

3 AI feeds

When a website has no RSS feed, Feeder can build one with AI by reading the page. Each feed made this way uses one of your 3 AI feeds, even for an ordinary web page. When they are used up, Feeder says You've reached your AI feed limit for this plan. Remove an AI feed you no longer need, or upgrade: Plus includes 30. See How to follow a website that does not support RSS.

Update speed

Feeds are checked every 2 hours by default. To check a feed more often, open its settings and pick a faster Update speed, as often as every 30 minutes. More in How often Feeder checks your feeds.

Post history and search

A post list on Free stops after 50 posts and shows Upgrade to see more posts. Search on Free looks through your newest posts only.

Rules and e-mail updates

In July 2026, Rules and e-mail updates for newly added feeds became part of the paid plans. Rules you made earlier stay saved but don't run on Free, and they start again when you upgrade.

Common questions

Is the Free plan free forever?

Yes. It has no time limit and Free accounts are never charged.

Why can't I add more than 3 feeds?

You have most likely reached the 3 AI feeds limit. Regular RSS feeds count toward the 200-feed limit instead, so adding a site that has its own feed still works.

Is there a limit on folders?

No. Free has no folder limit.

Do I get push notifications on Free?

Yes. Desktop and mobile push notifications are included. E-mail updates need Plus.
