The Economist: AIEconomist articles with AI in the headline, from the past 30 days.https://news.google.com/rss/search?q=when:30d+site:economist.com+intitle:AI&hl=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US:en

Which Economist RSS feeds no longer work?

  • Addresses with /sections/, like http://www.economist.com/sections/business-finance/rss.xml, stopped in 2018. They now forward to The Economist's RSS page, which isn't a feed. 386 Feeder users still follow that Business and finance feed. Replace it with Business and Finance and economics above.
  • Addresses with /feeds/print-sections/, like http://www.economist.com/feeds/print-sections/79/finance-and-economics.xml, have had no new article since January 2023.
  • Topic feeds ending in index.xml, like http://www.economist.com/topics/chinese-economy/index.xml, stopped in 2018.
  • Books and arts (https://www.economist.com/books-and-arts/rss.xml) has had no new article since January 2022. Follow Culture instead.
  • The Economist explains (https://www.economist.com/the-economist-explains/rss.xml) still loads, but has had no new article since August 2025. 37 Feeder users still follow it.
  • Old blog feeds, like Free exchange and Bagehot's notebook, no longer get new posts.

Special report (https://www.economist.com/special-report/rss.xml) still works but only gets new articles a few times a year; the newest is from June 2026. Old addresses in the /rss/ folder, like http://www.economist.com/rss/finance_and_economics_rss.xml, forward to the new feeds and still work. Why a feed stops updating explains other reasons a feed goes quiet.
