To create a folder, select Library in the sidebar, then Add, then Add folder. Type a name and select Create folder. Then drag feeds onto the folder, or select several feeds in Library and choose Move to folder.
How do I create a folder?
- Select Library in the left sidebar.
- Select Add at the top right and choose Add folder.
- Type a Name. To put the folder inside another folder, pick that one under Parent folder.
- Select Create folder.
Two shortcuts in the sidebar: right-click an empty spot below your feeds and choose Create new folder, or drag one feed onto another to make a folder with both. In the iPhone and Android apps, scroll to the end of your feed list and tap New folder...
How do I move feeds into a folder?
- One feed: drag it onto the folder, in the sidebar or in Library.
- Many feeds: in Library, tick the box next to each feed, select Move to folder and pick the folder.
- From the feed's settings: right-click the feed and choose Edit feed. Under Parent folders, select Edit folders (the pencil). Pick a folder, or type a new name, such as Tech, and choose Create new folder for "Tech". Select Save. A feed can be in more than one folder.
- In the apps: swipe left on a feed, or press and hold it, and tap Edit. Tap the folder to pick another one or to create a new one.
To move a whole folder, right-click it and choose Move to...
How do I sort feeds alphabetically?
- Open Library. To sort inside a folder, select that folder first.
- Select Sort by and choose Name (A-Z).
Type (folders first) puts folders on top, then feeds, each by name. Reverse flips the current order. In the sidebar, right-click an empty spot and choose Sort feeds... for the same options. Sorting puts one folder in order once: feeds you add later aren't sorted in, so sort again when you need to. You can also drag feeds into any order.
How do I remove many feeds at once?
- Open Library.
- Tick the box next to each feed. Shift-click selects a range. The box at the top, or Ctrl+A (Cmd+A on a Mac), selects everything in the folder you're in.
- Select Unfollow feeds and confirm.
If you tick folders too, they're deleted with the feeds inside them. To start over, select everything at the top level of Library. Before a big cleanup, export your feeds as OPML so you can import them again.
Deleting a folder also unfollows the feeds in it, unless a feed is in another folder too. To keep them, move them out before you right-click the folder and choose Delete folder.

Common questions
What is the "Try the new folder navigation?" message?
Feeder can open folders right in the sidebar, so you see what's inside without leaving the page. Choose Yes, try it now or No thanks, keep it as it is. To switch later, open Settings, Appearance and turn Expand folders in the sidebar on or off.
Is there a limit on folders?
No. Folders work on every plan, Free included, and you can put folders inside folders.
