The Axios RSS feed is https://api.axios.com/feed/top/. The address many lists give, https://www.axios.com/feeds/feed.rss, still works too: it forwards to the same stories. Axios also has feeds for all its national news, for every story and for its Axios Local cities. Below are 42 Axios feeds that work, 37 of them for cities, checked on October 5, 2026. Click a feed's name to add it to Feeder, or copy its URL into any RSS reader.
What is the Axios RSS feed URL?
| Feed | What you get | Feed URL |
|---|---|---|
| Axios top stories | Axios's main feed: the 100 newest top stories, about a week of news. | https://api.axios.com/feed/top/ |
| Axios national news | Every national story, top or not, 100 at most. | https://api.axios.com/feed/audience/national |
| All Axios stories | National and Axios Local stories together, 100 at most. | https://api.axios.com/feed/all/ |
These feeds come from Axios itself, at api.axios.com. Each item carries the text of the story, about 480 words on a typical item, with the writer's name and a picture.
300 Feeder users follow the top stories feed at this address, more than any other Axios feed. 84 follow it as https://www.axios.com/feeds/feed.rss, and 25 as https://api.axios.com/feed/: all three give the same stories. In the week we checked, the top stories feed got 13 to 18 stories each weekday and 5 to 7 on weekend days. The national feed covered about four days when we checked, and the all-stories feed about three.
Does Axios have RSS feeds by section?
No. Axios used to have feeds for sections like Politics, Technology and Business, but they now return an error: https://www.axios.com/feeds/politics.rss forwards to https://api.axios.com/feed/politics, which doesn't exist. For one subject, use a custom feed or a Google News feed.
Is there an Axios politics RSS feed?
Not from Axios. Make a custom feed from Axios's Politics & Policy page: paste https://www.axios.com/politics-policy into Add feed and choose Create a custom RSS feed for this website. You pick the headlines on the page, and Feeder checks it for new ones. Custom feeds are part of Feeder Plus. How to follow a website without an RSS feed shows each step.
Axios pages work well for this. Feeder users follow 15 working custom feeds made from axios.com pages, and 14 of them had new stories in the past week. Five Feeder users follow one made from the Politics & Policy page.
Is there an Axios AI RSS feed?
Not from Axios, but a Google News feed comes close. It lists Axios stories with AI in the headline:
| Feed | What you get | Feed URL |
|---|---|---|
| Axios AI stories, via Google News | Axios stories from the past week with AI in the headline. | https://news.google.com/rss/search?q=when:7d+site:axios.com+intitle:AI&hl=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US:en |
It had 50 stories when we checked. Each item has the headline, and the link opens the story through Google News. The Axios AI+ newsletter can arrive in Feeder too: see Axios video and newsletters below. For AI news from more sources, see AI news RSS feeds.
Axios Local RSS feeds
Each Axios Local city has its own feed with its newest local stories, 100 at most. The address ends with the same city name as the city's page on axios.com, like denver in axios.com/local/denver, so the Denver feed is https://api.axios.com/feed/audience/denver.

Axios video and newsletters

| Axios on YouTube | New videos from Axios's YouTube channel, like The Axios Show. | https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=UCfU4-ArXuSX0tpyApyklMAg |
Axios's e-mail newsletters, like Axios AI+, can arrive in Feeder too: subscribe with your Feeder newsletter address. Read your e-mail newsletters in Feeder shows where to find it.
Which Axios RSS feeds stopped?
- Section feeds at api.axios.com, like
feed/politics,feed/technology,feed/businessandfeed/science, return an error, and so dowww.axios.com/feeds/technology.rssandpolitics.rss, which forward to them. In Feeder, the Technology feed's last story is from April 2024 and the Science feed's from April 2025. - Writer feeds, like
https://www.axios.com/feeds/community/mikeallen.rss, return an error. Feeder's last story from that one is from 2017. - The old Charlotte feed at
https://charlotte.axios.com/feed/now forwards to axios.com, and Feeder hasn't read a story from it since January 2024. Use the Axios Charlotte feed above.
If an Axios feed in your reader has gone quiet, Why a feed stops updating explains the other common causes.
How do I follow Axios in Feeder?
- Click a feed's name on this page. Feeder opens Add feed with the feed's address filled in.
- Or select Add feed yourself, paste a feed URL, like
https://api.axios.com/feed/top/, and press Enter. - Select Follow. The button changes to Following.
To keep only the stories about one subject, add the top stories feed and filter it by keyword. How to filter an RSS feed by keyword shows how.
