To follow blogs in one place, add them to an RSS reader. Blog platforms from WordPress to Substack make an RSS feed for every blog, so new posts from all of them land in one list, and you don't need an account on any of the sites. Newsletters that only arrive by e-mail can go in the same list.
How do I follow a blog?
- Pick an RSS reader. It checks the blogs for you and collects their new posts. What is an RSS reader? explains the options.
- Paste the blog's address. In Feeder, select Add feed, paste the address, such as
terrytao.wordpress.com, and press Enter. Feeder finds the blog's feed for you. - Follow it. Under Available feeds, select Follow. The button changes to Following.
From then on, new posts show up newest first, marked unread until you read them. The blog doesn't learn who you are: your reader only fetches its feed.
Where do I find a blog's RSS feed?
You rarely need it, because the reader finds it. When you do, most blog platforms put the feed at a predictable address. Every example below had new posts on September 27, 2026:

WordPress also has a feed for each category (/category/name/feed/), tag (/tag/name/feed/) and author (/author/name/feed/), so you can follow just one part of a busy blog. Medium also has feeds for tags, such as https://medium.com/feed/tag/rss.
How do I follow a Substack without e-mail?
Paste the newsletter's address into your reader, or add /feed to it for the feed link. New posts then arrive in your reader instead of your inbox, next to your other blogs.
What about newsletters that only come by e-mail?
