EDGAR has a free RSS feed for every company's filings and for every form type. For one company, follow https://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?action=getcompany&CIK=TICKER&type=FORM&dateb=&owner=include&count=40&output=atom with its ticker and a form such as 8-K. Paste it into an RSS reader such as Feeder, and each new filing shows up next to your other news, with a notification if you want one.
EDGAR filing feed URLs
Replace TICKER with the company's ticker or its CIK number, and FORM with a form type. Leave FORM empty to get every filing. We checked each feed in Feeder on November 2, 2026.
| To follow | Feed URL | Example we checked |
|---|---|---|
| Every filing from one company | https://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?action=getcompany&CIK=TICKER&type=&dateb=&owner=include&count=40&output=atom | MSFT: the 40 newest filings, with a 10-Q, two 8-Ks and many Form 4s |
| One form from one company | https://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?action=getcompany&CIK=TICKER&type=FORM&dateb=&owner=include&count=40&output=atom | TSLA, 8-K: the 40 newest current reports, back to July 2023 |
| Insider trades at one company (Form 4) | https://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?action=getcompany&CIK=TICKER&type=4&dateb=&owner=only&count=40&output=atom | TSLA: the 40 newest Form 4 filings |
| The newest filings of one form, from all companies | https://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?action=getcurrent&type=FORM&company=&dateb=&owner=include&start=0&count=40&output=atom | 8-K: the 40 newest current reports from all companies |
| New private fundraising (Form D) | https://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?action=getcurrent&type=D&company=&dateb=&owner=include&start=0&count=40&output=atom | The 40 newest Form D notices, with proxy filings mixed in (see below) |
The form filter matches every form that starts with what you type. type=8-K also gets 8-K/A amendments, and type=D also gets proxy filings such as DEF 14A and DEFA14A. Each post title starts with its form, so a rule in Feeder can hide the forms you don't want (see below).

How do I follow a company's filings in Feeder?
- Copy the company feed URL from the table above and put in the ticker and form, for example
CIK=TSLA&type=8-K. - In Feeder, click Add feed and paste it.
- Click Follow.
You can also paste a company's EDGAR page, such as https://www.sec.gov/edgar/browse/?CIK=320193. Feeder finds its feed of the 20 newest filings of every type. That feed gives no filing dates, so posts show the time Feeder found them. For dates and a form filter, use the URLs in the table.
How do I get notified about new filings?
Right-click the feed in the sidebar and choose Edit feed. On the Settings tab, under Notifications, turn on Mobile, Desktop or Sound. Notifications work on every plan, Free included. Get notifications for new posts has every option.
Can I hide the forms I don't want?
Yes, with a rule. Click Rules in the sidebar, then New rule. Under What should happen?, choose Filter posts and pick the feed. Under Match posts that, choose Don't contain and type the forms to hide, such as DEF 14A and DEFA14A. Rules need Plus. See How to filter an RSS feed by keyword, in any reader.
How fast do new filings arrive?
Feeder shows a filing when it next checks the feed. On Free, feeds update every 2 hours by default, and you can set a feed to update as often as every 30 minutes. Plus checks as often as every 5 minutes, and Professional every minute. See How often Feeder checks your feeds.
Can I send new filings to Slack or Microsoft Teams?
Yes. On Professional, a rule can post each new filing to a Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord or Telegram channel, or send it to your own URL as JSON. See RSS to Slack and RSS to webhook.
Common questions
Do I need a ticker or a CIK number?
Either works in CIK=. We checked TSLA and MSFT, and Apple's CIK, 0000320193. Companies without a ticker, such as many Form D filers, only have a CIK. Find it with the SEC's EDGAR company search.
Can I get more than 40 filings?
Yes. Set count=100 and the feed lists the 100 newest filings. We checked 40 and 100. A reader keeps the posts it already has, so after the first check the feed only needs to hold the new filings.
Are the feeds free?
Yes. The SEC's feeds are free and need no account.
Is it RSS or Atom?
EDGAR's filing feeds use Atom, and the news feeds use RSS. Every RSS reader, Feeder included, reads both.
