Not directly. Upwork turned off its RSS feeds after August 20, 2024, and its job search pages turn Feeder's servers away, so there is no Upwork job feed you can follow. You can still bring Upwork's job e-mails into Feeder, and follow other job boards that do have feeds.
What happened to my Upwork feeds?
Upwork's feed links, the ones that start with https://www.upwork.com/ab/feed/, now return an error in every RSS reader. Upwork feeds you still follow in Feeder haven't had a new post since August 2024, and they won't get one. To remove one, right-click it and choose Delete feed.
How do I get Upwork jobs into Feeder?
Upwork now points freelancers to saved job searches and its e-mail notifications, which you set up in your Upwork account. Send those e-mails to Feeder, and each one shows up as a post:
- In Feeder, open feeder.co/settings/newsletters, or click Add feed and choose Newsletters. Copy your Feeder address. It looks like
in.xxxxxxxxxx@tofeeder.com. - In your e-mail app, add a rule that forwards Upwork's job e-mails to that address. Gmail first sends a confirmation code, which arrives in Feeder as a new feed: see Read your e-mail newsletters in Feeder.
- New Upwork e-mails now appear in Feeder, in a feed named after the sender.
Turn on push notifications for that feed to hear about new jobs as soon as the e-mails arrive. Notifications are free on every plan. To see only the jobs that match your skills, add a keyword rule: Rules are part of Plus, $7.99 a month billed yearly.
Which job boards still have RSS feeds?
Many do, including We Work Remotely, Remotive, Himalayas and Freelancer.com. Remote and freelance job RSS feeds that still work lists working feed addresses you can add in one click.
Common questions
Will Upwork bring its RSS feeds back?
We don't know of any plans. If Upwork offers feeds again, you'll be able to follow them in Feeder like any other feed.
Can I create a feed from an Upwork search page?
No. Upwork shows Feeder's servers a bot check instead of the jobs, so a custom feed or AI feed of an Upwork page gets no new posts.
