A collection is a list of single posts that you pick, from any feed. Create one in Library, Collections, then add posts with Add to collections. Use collections to save articles for later, gather research or keep posts to share. Folders group feeds; collections group posts.
How do I create a collection?
- Select Library in the left sidebar and open the Collections tab.
- Select New collection.
- Pick an icon and type a Name. You can also give it a one-letter Keyboard Shortcut (optional).
- Select Add collection. The collection shows up in your feed list, like a feed.
How do I add a post to a collection?
- Hover over a post in the list and select Add to collections, or right-click the post and choose Add to collections. On the keyboard, press P.
- Tick one or more collections. To make a new one, select New collection.
- Select Save.
If a collection has a shortcut key, press that key to add the open post, or to take it out again. A post can be in as many collections as you like.
In the iPhone and Android apps, swipe right on a post and tap Collections, or tap Collections at the bottom while you read.
Can posts go into a collection automatically?
Yes, with a rule. Rules need Plus ($7.99 a month billed yearly) or Professional.
- In Library, Collections, select the collection.
- Under Rules, select Add rule. The new rule is already set to Add to collection for this collection.
- Under Select feeds, pick feeds, folders or All feeds.
- Under Match posts that, type your keywords, then select Save rule.
Rules act on new posts only. Rerun, on the collection's page, empties the collection, including posts you added by hand, and runs its rules again. See Rules for keywords and other options.

Common questions
How do I remove a collection from my feed list?
Right-click it and choose Unfollow. The collection and its posts stay in Library, Collections, where Subscribe brings it back. To delete a collection for good, select it there and choose Delete collection.
Can I share a collection or turn it into a feed?
Yes, on Professional ($14.99 per user a month billed yearly). You can share a collection with your team in a workspace, and the collection's page can make public RSS and JSON links under Export.
