Highlight text to create annotations

Annotations let you add notes directly to any text in a post.

Adding an annotation

Highlight any piece of text within a post, and a menu pops up, offering the Add note to selection option.

Clicking on it allows you to create a note tied directly to that specific text segment. Your annotations will appear as yellow markings on the text, offering a visual cue for easy reference.

Sharing insights with your team

If you’re using Feeder in a team, your annotations are visible to everyone on your team, so you can work through content together. If you’re flying solo, your annotations stay private.

Enhanced reading & collaboration

Annotations are more than highlights. Use them to start conversations around content and share notes and observations, kept right next to the text that prompted them.

Where to find your Annotations?

Just like notes, finding your Annotations is a breeze. Head to the Notes section in the sidebar, and all your Annotations, along with Notes, are listed there for quick access.

Every article that has one or more Annotations or Notes display a yellow badge.

You can also use the feed filter options to filter out articles with annotations in a long list of posts.

Only available in Feeder Plus

Please note that Annotations are available as part of the Feeder Plus plan. You can upgrade anytime by visiting the Billing section in your account settings, or going to https://feeder.co/account/subscription to read more about our different plans.
